Our Tour

What to Expect

At Culturismo we don’t think of our travelers as tourists. We see you as voyagers, adventurers, and explorers. Our goal is to help you satisfy your curiosity at the same time you enjoy the very real pleasures of the Caribbean.

Our goal is to follow the words of the Roman poet Horace—docere et delectare—to teach and to delight.

❋ Guided journeys

We’ll guide you to iconic landmarks in the oldest city in the New World, introduce you to family-owned coffee and cacao farms, take you to secret beaches and caves with pre-Columbian pictographs, and much more.

❋ Curated discussions

Together with our local partners, we’ll discuss some of the most important moments in Dominican history and the vast impact they’ve had on the island and the world.

❋ Plenty of time to relax, too

The Dominican Republic is renowned for its stunning beaches, soft sand, and warm water. Not to mention coffee, rum, cigar, chocolate, dominoes, music and dance. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy all the beauty the island has to offer.

❋ Unexpected connections

On a Culturismo tour, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know your fellow guests and form lasting friendships. And you might find there’s a magic on this island that pulls strangers together, creating connection when you least expect it.
